Join us on Monday 19 May 2025, for the 2nd Women’s Physiology and Nutrition Symposium (WPNS), proudly hosted by Dr Kelsie Johnson (researcher in exercise metabolism and the female athlete).
Funded by the Society of Endocrinology, this year’s symposium explores the past, present, and future of research in women’s physiology and nutrition. The event will provide a comprehensive overview of key advancements and identify critical gaps in our understanding, guiding the next generation of research.
This symposium is designed to engage students, early career researchers, practitioners, and professionals working in or interested in optimising performance and health in female athletes.
What the day will feature:
- Outstanding Keynote lecture’s delivered by Professor Julie Greeves OBE, Madison Taylor PhDc and Dr Samantha Moss.
- Oral and poster communication competition.
- Futuristic parallel session’s led by expert researchers from Liverpool John Moores University’s CaMP-LH and APNM research groups.
