EDIR related research outputs
A selection of research articles spanning 2020 to 2024, with a focus on topics and groups that are historically underrepresented in the Sport and Exercise Science research domain.
Topics and themes of these research works include:
- females and women
- a range of disabilities
- pregnancy and infertility
- older people
- sexism
- gender violence
- people living with long-term conditions
These are a result of a school wide conscious effort to diversity research cohort populations, topics of research and generalisability of research findings. These research outputs either evidence the principles of EDI we are beginning to embed into our research culture and environment or explicitly promote aspects of EDI that are specific to the sector through our research outputs.
