Daniel Hsu joined Liverpool John Moores University in 2022 as Lecturer in Digital Marketing & Analytics within Liverpool Business School. He brings a blend of academic rigour and industry expertise in digital marketing and technology. He holds both a BSc and an MBA from the National Taipei University of Technology in Taiwan, where he was awarded an overseas exchange scholarship to the Institute of Technology Sligo, now known as Atlantic Technological University, in Ireland. Continuing his academic success, Daniel completed an MSc with Distinction at Ulster University in Northern Ireland, where he received the Santander Scholarship and the Pure Running Award, recognising his top performance in Digitising Marketing. Before moving into academia, Daniel worked in the 3D printing industry and held roles as a Digital Marketing Communications Specialist for EU and US markets and later as a Product-Marketing Project Manager. In these capacities, he led multiple product launches introducing both consumer and industrial-grade 3D printers to global markets. His efforts ensured successful product debuts at major international trade shows, such as CES, RAPID, TCT, and Formnext.

Teaching and Academic Contributions:
Daniel is committed to advancing learning and teaching in higher education, with a particular focus on integrating technology in the classroom to enhance active learning. His teaching career began at Ulster University, where he served as a Casual Lecturer in Marketing & Management from 2020 to 2022. His contributions were recognised with the Distinguished Collaborative Education Excellence Fellowship award in 2022. Daniel holds fellowships of both the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and the Staff and Educational Development Association (FSEDA). In his current role at LJMU, he supervises BA consultancy and MSc research projects. Additionally, Daniel's teaching portfolio spans both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, reflecting his expertise in digital marketing and experiential learning. Daniel has broad research interests in the areas of digital marketing, social media, content marketing and marketing technology (MarTech), especially in the context of small businesses. He is currently pursuing a PhD at Ulster University Business School, focusing on how small firms leverage digital technology as a resource to enhance customer relationships. Daniel has actively contributed to academic discourse, presenting his research at international conferences include:
