Your guide to getting your results 2026: Friday 12 June

This week our student will receive their results. Read the guidance below for how to access them, what they mean, and the steps to take if you don’t get the results you want.

Accessing your results

At 9am on Friday 12 June, you’ll receive a text message on your personal mobile number and an email to your LJMU address with your results.

This will take you to the My Results portal on MyLJMU. Log in using your LJMU username and password.

If for some reason the link is not accessible, you can access your results via this link.

Understanding what your results mean

You have successfully passed all your registered modules or Complete with Target Award: This means you've passed and can progress to the next year of your studies or receive your degree.

If you haven’t successfully passed, your results statement will tell you the activity and action that needs to be undertaken and by what date, for example an exam resit or an assignment due date.

Not the results you were hoping for?

There are a variety of resources to support you after receiving your results:

Personal Tutors or Programme Leaders are your first point of contact, please speak to them directly if you have any queries related to your course and how you can progress effectively. You can also contact Academic Registry via the LJMU Assist help desk if you have a query about your results.

The Library’s Academic Success team has a range of support available if you have not been successful with any of your assessments. You can book a drop-in appointment or check out the self-study resources.

If your results are affecting your mental health and wellbeing, our Student Advice and Wellbeing team is available with drop in appointments or bookable online sessions.

John Moores Students' Union (JMSU) offers an Academic Support Advice Service outlining academic appeals (which have to be submitted within 10 days of receiving formal results,) and information on personal circumstances.

Continuing your studies

For the 2026/27 academic year, registration for returning students opens on Monday 17 August. Should we need you to, you will receive an invitation to your LJMU email address signposting on how to register for the next academic year.

To find out when to come back to campus in September and what the next academic year looks like, you can view the LJMU Academic Calendar 2026/27 here.

Graduating this summer

For those students in their final year who have successfully passed all their modules, don’t forget to register for your summer graduation.

You can find out more about summer graduation 2026 and frequently asked questions about dates, tickets, gowning and photography on our graduation webpages.
