Tuition fees
Please note:
Course tuition fees vary and you must access the international tab on the relevant course page to view the correct fee.
Tuition fee deposit and instalment plan
International students must pay an initial deposit of £5,000 plus the first instalment which is due before enrolment. Students have the option to pay their fees in full or in three equal instalments minus any internal scholarships. The first instalment is due before enrolment.
Postgraduate fee payment deadlines
- Early Bird Deposit payment: 6 November 2026
- 4 December 2026: £5,000 deposit due
- 4 January 2027: 25% of tuition fee is due
- 15 May 2027: 25% of tuition fee is due
- 15 August 2027: 25% of tuition fee is due
Our international scholarships
LJMU awards a range of international scholarships and early bird discounts from £3,500 to £5,500 for students enrolling at the University every year. These awards take the form of partial tuition fee scholarships and are available to eligible international students who apply for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
