I have been a qualified adult nurse for 17 years firstly as a surgical nurse with per/peri and post operative patients, I have ICU experience, then I worked in the private medical sector before going into clinical education. I then joined as a academic educator in university where I have worked across pre and post registration nursing for the past 6 years. My key areas of teaching are student academic writing skills, non medical prescribing and pedagogical approaches to inclusive practice.
