Faculty of Engineering and Technology

Position: Senior Lecturer in Civil Engineering - School of Civil Engineering and Built Environment

I joined LJMU in 1997 as a sessional lecturer in Hydraulics. Prior to this, I held a research position at North West Water Ltd. investigating vortex flow separators for municipal wastewater treatment. My teaching and research interests have primarily been centred on hydraulic principles and pollutant removal. More recently, I have also been involved in a number of research projects utilising waste materials in highway design.
