Applications now open for 2026/27 D&I Funded Projects Programme
Have an idea to make LJMU more inclusive?
Applications are now open for the 2026/27 Diversity and Inclusion Funded Projects Programme. The Fund supports staff-led projects that help create meaningful change in equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging across LJMU and beyond.
Applications are welcomed from colleagues across faculties and professional services, including those who may not have applied for funding before.
Projects can apply for up to £7,000, with exceptional applications considered up to £10,000.
Belonging starts here
This year, we are particularly interested in practical, purposeful ideas that respond to a clear need and leave a lasting legacy – whether through changes in practice, knowledge, culture, policy, resources, partnerships or staff and student experience.
Successful projects will be formally announced at the D&I Funded Projects Celebration Event on 8 October 2026.
