Help JMSU welcome our students at the Freshers Fair

Our friends at JMSU are looking for LJMU staff volunteers for this year’s Freshers Fair on Friday 18 September, from 9.30am to 4.30pm (doors open at 10.30am and close at 4:30pm).

Freshers Fair is the biggest event in the JMSU calendar, welcoming more than 9,500+ students across the day. If you can volunteer for the whole day, they’d love to have your support.

There are plenty of ways that volunteers can help on the day, including:

• Welcoming students as they arrive
• Handing out freebies and information
• Supporting activities and fairground rides
• Helping create a fun, friendly and inclusive atmosphere

It's a fantastic opportunity to meet students, work alongside colleagues from across JMSU and the university, and experience one of our biggest student events first-hand. JMSU will also provide a t-shirt and free pizza for every staff volunteer. 

A huge thank you to the Finance team, who volunteered last year and were an incredible help to JMSU - they've already signed up to come back again this year.
