Campus relocations and new ways of working

As teams across the university prepare to relocate to new homes on campus, those staff are invited to a series of information sessions to find out more about the moves and new ways of working.

The drop-in sessions are being hosted this month by Estates and Facilities Management for those teams who will be leaving Exchange Station.

Staff in the named teams are invited to drop in to the appropriate event in room G20 on the ground floor of Exchange Station. You will be able to speak to the team delivering the relocation project and find out more about your new accommodation and ways of working:

  • View examples of typical desk set-ups
  • Review plans of the new areas you will be moving into
  • Speak directly with the project team and project managers
  • See examples of previously completed works
  • Gain a better understanding of the accommodation you will be moving into next year
  • Ask any questions you may have regarding the move

Schedule for drop-in sessions

Monday 9 November, 1pm – 4pm

Open to those colleagues relocating to Mount Pleasant Library and Aquinas: Academic Registry, Academic Quality, Teaching and Learning, Business Support, Registry Services, Student Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions, and International Relations.

Wednesday 11 November, 1pm – 4pm

Open to staff moving to City Library: HR, Finance, Research and Innovation Services, Student Governance, Student Futures and Degree Apprenticeships.

Friday 20 November, 1pm – 4pm

For IT Services staff relocating to Peter Jost Building.

The decant from Exchange Station is part of the university’s wider strategy to make the best use of its estate and provide outstanding modern facilities for staff and students.
