Data analytics course launches for educators around the world

LJMU, in partnership with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), has launched a free Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) focused on data analytics for educators around the globe.

The project is funded by the British Council and forms part of the output of the UK Malaysia University Consortium, led by LJMU as Consortium Secretariat, to support the advancement of quality teaching, learning, research and university systems internationally.

Representatives from LJMU’s School of Education and Teaching and Learning Academy recently visited UTM to celebrate the launch of the online course and to share further insights into educational research and analysis of data for postgraduate students.

We've created an international, online learning course for ongoing development of digital capabilities relevant to educators looking to develop their professional practice and expand their knowledge of data analytics.

We encourage all professionals in education to access the course and to study online, with all learners qualifying for a micro-credential from UTM upon successful completion. Please also complete the pre and post-course questionnaires so we can review and improve.

Dr Frances Tracy, from LJMU’s MOOC Project Team and Head of Professional Learning & Enterprise at the School of Education
