Our research and discipline groups
All staff are aligned into one of our five discipline groups, that foster sharing of practice across the school. We use our discipline groups to ensure an up-to-date research-informed curriculum.

Supporting business
For the past 40 years our business academics have also worked alongside the local business community. Liverpool Business School supports the business community by providing business education, alongside expertise and support through clinical business practice. We aim to have improved employability, boost workforce productivity and generate innovation and growth. The School engages with and supports business in multiple ways.

Business simulation tools, live projects delivered through our business clinic pages, practical assessments and work placements ensure that students gain a wealth of experience before graduating. Through our extensive business links, cultural partnerships and a dedicated placement support team, we equip our students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to stand out in competitive job markets.
