  • 1.40 to 2.30pm: Talk and discussion with Matt Bridges, LJMU Clinical Exercise Physiologist

Exercise oncology: matching prescription to the cancer pathway and the person

Matt will discuss the benefits of exercise before, during and after cancer treatments, as well as the long-term benefits. Learn what a clinical exercise physiologist would do to tailor exercises for someone undergoing a cancer pathway from pre-treatment or pre-operation to living a life post-cancer.

Also, learn more about the LJMU Clinical Exercise Physiology Clinic available to students and staff affected by cancer.

Please note:
This event is open to all LJMU staff, students and alumni and is limited to 24 people.
