Professional Services Career Development Retreat June 2026

Registration is now open for the Professional Services Career Development Retreat taking place on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 June 2026.

This free, non-residential retreat represents an opportunity for guided reflection on experiences to date and looking forward to where you want your career to go.

It will be informal, relaxed and collaborative, with a focus on helping you when applying for roles, acing your interview techniques, and building your confidence. The retreat is more suited to professional services staff who are less experienced in these areas.

There will be plenty of time and space to share thoughts, knowledge and experiences with colleagues - come prepared to reflect, chat and plan.

We will be joined by two wonderful guest speakers as part of the programme of activity:

  • Dr Craig Hammond, Associate Professor, from the School of Education
  • Dr Nick Phillips, Senior Lecturer in Performance and Production, from Liverpool School of Art and Creative Industries
