Data as a Story exhibition open until 28 April

The Data as a Story exhibition explores how research data can be more than numbers, tables, or charts. Through creative formats such as posters, illustrations, zines, audio, photography, and physical objects, LJMU researchers and postgraduate researchers share the stories behind their data – from lived experience and social justice, to science, health, and wellbeing.

By presenting data in visual, narrative, and creative ways, Data as a Story invites visitors to think differently about how research is created, interpreted, and shared. It highlights the richness of research processes and how open and accessible approaches can make research more meaningful to wider audiences.

The exhibition is open to all staff and students and can be visited throughout the day while the Mount Pleasant Campus Library is open.

It’s a great opportunity to see the breadth of research happening across LJMU and how data can communicate ideas, experiences, and impact in powerful ways.

Data as a Story exhibition viewing times until 28 April 2026

Monday to Friday from 8.45am to 7pm.

Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
