LJMU heads to Northern Ireland for busy Applicant Day

LJMU staff and students recently travelled to Belfast for a university Applicant Day providing pre-entry support and advice about all things LJMU to more than 500 attendees.
Northern Irish students are a key part of the student community at the university and current students played a key role in the success of the event.
As part of the welcome talk, Ben Conacher and Madison McCreery talked about their journey moving from Northern Ireland to study at LJMU, and the transformational experiences the university has given them.
Sharon Roden, Schools and Colleges Account Manager in the university’s Outreach team, said: “It was fantastic to see so much interest in LJMU. Feedback has been so positive with applicants and parents feeling reassured about making the move to Liverpool many stating that it has convinced them to make LJMU their first choice."
Whilst organised by the Outreach team this event is a true team effort with contributions from every corner of the university. The event brings different teams together, and the passion and enthusiasm of everyone involved makes a huge difference. It makes me feel proud to be part of the LJMU community.
