Research Excellence
The Research Excellence team provides expert professional support to LJMU academic staff conducting research, directed by the university’s Research and Knowledge Exchange Plan 2030. We provide central ownership of Research Excellence Framework 209 preparation at LJMU.
Our sub-teams include Research Impact, Public Engagement, and Research Culture. We support staff directly to develop research activity throughout the university, and we are responsible for research policy and IT systems that enable the day-to-day work of research and knowledge exchange. These systems include Symplectic Elements, LJMU Profiles, and SciVal.
We are always happy to assist colleagues to maximise the benefits from their research to the university and research users worldwide. To enable us to provide the best quality support, please see our Service Level Agreement for details on our working arrangements.
