Doctoral study information sessions
The Doctoral Academy is offering information sessions to provide LJMU students, graduates, external candidates and members of staff with the opportunity to learn more about doctoral study. Both sessions will be lead by ad by Professor Scott Foster, Professor Komang Ralebitso Senior and Gillian Dyche.
The sessions will be on campus: Room G08, 79 Tithebarn Street, Liverpool L2 2ER. The Tithebarn Street Building is accessed via City Campus Library. Please note that the venue has yet to be confirmed and may change.

- Wednesday 14 April 2027, 1 to 3pm.

- What a PhD is
- Why you should study for a PhD
- The routes into PhD and Doctoral study
- The structure of a PhD
- What the entry requirements are
