Maintenance

The Maintenance team is responsible for keeping the University's buildings "fit for purpose" we oversee all minor works, repairs, reactive, long term and planned preventative maintenance. We also assure that we are compliant with all statutory regulations. In order to do this we manage a new single source Estate Management maintenance contractor, Atlas Group. They will have staff permanently based on site and can be contacted through the Estate Management Team via the Helpdesk. The Estate Management Team operate a 24/7 Helpdesk, however, if you are logging an emergency out of hours, after 5pm Monday to Friday, please call 2222 and security will assist you.

Any requests for Maintenance should be made via contacting the IT / Estate Customer Services Help Desk Therefore, if your issue is regarding a Repair or Breakdown in your area it is classed as Maintenance.

Examples are leaks, heating or cooling problems, doors or windows not opening or locking, lifts not functioning or lights or sockets not working.

Emergencies outside of normal office hours should be reported in same manner.
