Using Panopto in assessment

This guide will help you use Panopto when you want students to submit an individual video recording as part of their assessment.

Limitations of this process:

This guide is for individual student recordings only. If you want students to make group recordings, it's more complex:

If all students are present in one location doing a presentation together, this might be possible in Panopto
If students are in different locations and need to record together, we suggest using Teams to make the recording first, then adding it to Panopto (see the submission guide for details)

This process will not allow peer review each other's videos (this is a limitation of Panopto assignments).
