The home of sport and exercise sciences
At the forefront of innovation in sport and exercise sciences since 1975, we are proud to celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2025. Over the past five decades, we’ve grown from the world’s first sports science degree to a leading institution for teaching, research, and engagement across multiple disciplines.
Throughout 2025, we have a variety of exciting events, campaigns, and initiatives planned, celebrating our history and achievements. If you’ve studied here, worked with us, or collaborated with us, we invite you to be part of the celebrations. For more information on our journey and upcoming events, visit our 50 Years of Sport Science page.
