Dr Luke Topham is a Senior Lecturer in Software Engineering at the School of Computer Science and Mathematics at Liverpool John Moores University. He is actively involved in cutting-edge research and scholarly activities and has diverse research interests in artificial intelligence (AI). Dr Topham obtained his PhD in AI from LJMU in 2024 with a thesis titled "Person Identity in Gait Patterns: A Spatial-Temporal Approach for Non-Invasive Gait Identification in Realistic Environments Using Deep Machine Learning and Computer Vision". Furthermore, he received an MPhil in engineering from the University of Liverpool, an MSc in Computer Science from LJMU, a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Chester, and a PGCert in academic practice from LJMU.
