I am currently working as a postgraduate researcher at Liverpool John Moores University, School of Education, Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies. My main research interest is the outdoor learning approach Forest School. Other research interests include sense of place, nature connectedness, and nature deficit disorder.
The ongoing research project focuses on the impact of Forest School Training opportunities on primary student teachers attending an Initial Teacher Training programme. The objective of the research is to assess the impact of the employment of outdoor learning pedagogies on primary trainee teachers’ future profession and professional development.
