My current role is Head of Professional Learning and Enterprise for the School of Education, Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies. I oversee a broad portfolio of partnerships with schools, colleges, training institutes and private universities, locally and internationally. I also support the development of new professional learning opportunities for educators across a broad range of sectors. I have an inter-disciplinary background and have supported teaching and learning in Education and Early Childhood Studies at LJMU for several years. My research has focussed on participatory research projects in higher education, often including the development and use of educational technologies to support teaching and learning. I currently use that experience in seeking funding to support the enhancement of professional development which enriches professional careers in education.
