After graduating from Cambridge University, Camilla completed a post-graduate diploma in journalism, in London. She worked as a news and sports reporter and news reader in local and national radio and then switched to network television. First working as an on-screen reporter on completion of a Director's training course at BBC Elstree, she progressed to working as a producer/director on both magazine and long-form documentary programmes, which included working as sole camera operator on documentaries for BBC2 and Sky One.

She has filmed and produced documentaries for BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, ITV 1, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky One, including the RTS award-winning investigative documentary series, 'On The Line' for BBC2.

Her current documentary filmmaking projects include a socio-historical study of Latin America.
